Debi, you might not remember me but I'm Stacie Tucker's sister. You all have been on my mind a lot lately. I have to say that I don't believe a day goes by that I don't pray for you. I keep the Sam's Rock info sheet on my freezer door and have shared your story with just about everyone I know. I'm a hairstylist and Sat. a friend/client walked into the shop with a cute pink shirt on. I did a double take it was a Sam's Rock T! Awesome! So, I hope I'm helping out in a little way here in Southern Illinois! I hope you are all having a great summer.

Hi Debi,
I am a friend of Kim Crittenden's. The contact page on the website isn't working so I thought I'd contact this way. I have a friend in Lexington who has a friend whose 18 month old just died. Vomited in sleep. I'd love for you to contact her - I'll get her info but I don't have an email address to send the info to you. Could you please email me with that info?? Thanks sooooooo very much!!!! You are a blessing!!!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
This is just to let you know that Sami's monument will be dedicated at a service to be held 9/15/07 at 11AM at her gravesite at Cave Hill Cemetery. The service will be about how God has comforted this family and how we pray the He will use this site to bring a non-believer to Him.
Praise be to God,
Geoff

To the Mcdonalds,
I don't even know if I should be writing on a public Message Board due to our policies...but..I am speaking personally and I must tell you that I was in the room the day that Sami came into the hospital. We all struggled and kept ourselves together for the sake of Sami. We have almost basically trained ourselves to do our jobs, help the patients and families with total sympathy and respect. And treat them as if they were our own. And then go about our day. But in the case of Sami...she is one of our own. We've kept her picture up in the breakroom for as long as I can remember, and everyday we all took a look at that beautiful smile! Which I must say kept me going throughout the day. The entire staff had an extremely hard time dealing with the situation that day. I have never seen so many people come together in that way, and have to walk out so that you didn't see us cry. Becca and Jacob are also an inspiration to me. I still remember us asking what Becca was going to name her little pink polka dotted dog, she kept saying "I don't know yet". As we were walking through the doors, she looks up at me and says "Sami"! "I think I'll name my dog Sami". I told her that was a perfect name and I never saw her again. I still have the tag that came off of that dog to remind me how precious life is, and how precious Sami is! Most of us have the Sam's Rock t-shirt's.
Just for the meaning, that is my most treasured item. I have a child myself and my heart and prayers will ALWAYS be with you. And I beleive I speak for everyone else that was there with her that day! God Bless!
Signed,
Forever a Friend!
I first heard about your story last year at church. It broke my heart and I remember leaving church that day crying and sad. I have a daughter who's birthday is the day before Sami went to meet Jesus in heaven. So this hits close to home for us. I have also read and notice her pictures in the childrens hallway every Sunday. I then was reminded of this story a couple months ago when I was at my aunt Susan's house. She had a picture of Sami on her fridge. I asked if she knew Sami and she said no but her newphew Jacob's wife is Sami's aunt. Sorry I forgot her name but I am sure you guys will know who I am talking about. Then yesterday we received the outlook and read Sami's story. I am so touched and sad about your story but I am also happy because so many people are coming to know the Lord because of what you guys are doing! My daughters who are now 3 & 4 are very curious about Sami. I sat down with them last night and explained to them what had happended. My 4 year old daughter has talked about it non stop. She is breaking my heart with the things she is wandering and saying. I LOVE her monument!! It is beautiful! I have never seen anything like it before. You guys have really touched and changed our lives as well. I TRY not to take my children for granted and I realize life is so precious! Thank you so much for what you are doing and keep up the GREAT work!! By the way, we plan to order shirts soon....if we can. I want to order some "pink" ones for my girls to wear now that they know and understand the story behind the shirt! I seem to see people wearing the shirts everywhere so we are often reminded of Sami!
